More than a Sunday morning
We often speak of fellowship as though it were something that happens between the opening hymn and the closing prayer. But the churches that make up our council have always understood it differently: fellowship is what the church does with the other six days of the week.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." — Acts 2:42
Three commitments for the year ahead
- Visit before you're needed. A visit made in an ordinary week is worth more than one made in a crisis.
- Share what you have. Every congregation has something another one lacks — a choir, a nurse, a builder, a translator.
- Pray by name. General prayers comfort no one in particular.
Where our congregations are serving
| Region | Focus | Partner churches |
|---|---|---|
| Centre | Youth mentoring | 12 |
| Littoral | Medical outreach | 8 |
| Nord | School support | 5 |
None of this is new. It is simply the ordinary work of being church together, carried on faithfully in one more year.
If you would like to take part, our contact page lists the coordinator for each region. You are welcome — not as a visitor, but as family.
